The expansion includes 65 presets and 162 one-shot samples, offering instant atmosphere for your music.

The pack is crafted by Delhia, described as the queen of alt-pop electronica, and serves as a launchpad for your own beats. Each preset feels nearly fully formed, providing a solid starting point for experimentation. It is a mirage of sound, rich in texture and feel, ranging from moody club house bangers to dreamy downbeat soundscapes with siren singing.

Key Capabilities

The expansion includes 65 beat presets and 162 one-shot drum samples, all editable within XO. The presets feature crispy tight drum patterns, booming bass, ethereal processed vocal lines, and a lot of space. You can load a groove into the built-in sequencer and swap out sounds for anything else in your XO library, creating endless variations.

It covers a range of moods, from deep, urgent, and driving to wistful and floaty. The one-shot samples provide raw material for building your own rhythms, while the presets offer fully arranged grooves. The pack encourages building, layering, and experimenting to make the sounds your own.

Workflow

Start by loading a beat preset from Oscillations into XO’s sequencer. The preset provides a complete groove that you can immediately tweak. Then, use XO’s organizational features to browse and replace individual drum hits with other samples from your library, allowing for quick sound substitutions.

Layer additional elements from the one-shot samples to add texture and variation. The workflow is designed for creativity: you can build complex patterns, experiment with different combinations, and play with the sounds. The expansion fits seamlessly into XO’s ecosystem, making it easy to integrate into your production process.

Practical Applications

This expansion is suited for producers working in alt-pop, electronica, and tech house genres. Use the presets as foundations for new tracks, or mine the one-shots for unique drum hits. The moody vocal textures and deep bass work well in club-oriented tracks, while the dreamier presets can support downtempo or ambient productions.

The included sounds can also spark inspiration, with each preset offering a nearly complete musical idea. By swapping sounds and adding your own samples, you can transform the presets into fresh variations, making the expansion a versatile tool for both beat-making and sound design.
