The library is built on the new Shreddage 3 engine, which replaces older technology with advanced fretting and voicing algorithms that simulate how a real guitarist plays. This results in more natural chord performances and solo lines, with voicings that adapt to the musical context.

The instrument includes three unique pickup positions that can be blended to shape the tonal character, from thick rhythm tones to cutting leads. It offers a comprehensive set of articulations such as sustains, power chords, palm mutes, staccatos, harmonics, pinch harmonics, tapping, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and portamento. Realistic release noises, rake effects, and muted chokes add authenticity. All audio is recorded in high-resolution 24-bit quality, preserving detail and clarity.

A major feature is the Console, a modular effects rack and mixer. It provides over thirty effect modules, including multiple equalizers, compressors, spatial effects, modulation, distortion pedals, amplifiers, and reverbs. Additionally, there are over thirty custom cabinet impulse responses captured with dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones in various positions.

The updated Total Articulation Control Technology (TACT) 2.0 gives full control over how articulations are mapped and triggered.
