Its core Tune-In section controls the intensity and speed of natural pitch correction, as well as the strength of the aggressive, artificial Cher-style effect.
The same section also manages formant shifting, voice transposition, and the key of the tuning. For many users, the single Trap Tune Intensity knob may be all they need to dial in the desired effect, from subtle correction to obvious auto-tune.
Key Capabilities
Beyond tuning, TrapTune offers a Second Voice section that adds a unison vocal, transposable by semitones and switchable by octave for lower or higher harmonies. A Stereo voice switch activates a doubler that widens and thickens the vocal immediately.
The distortion section, controlled by just two knobs, ranges from warm saturation to heavy mayhem. Additionally, a plate reverb tuned for vocals and a delay with feedback and time controls provide space and depth, all accessible via dedicated bypass switches per section.
Workflow and Integration
TrapTune encourages a flexible workflow. Each section—Tune-In, Second Voice, distortion, reverb, and delay—can be bypassed individually, letting you use only the parts you need. The plugin includes a large preset library to explore different sounds quickly.
It is designed to pair with United Plugins’ Voxessor for technical vocal cleanup, while TrapTune handles the creative effects. Activation uses license files, requiring no iLok, dongle, or internet, and the software can be used on all your computers as the registered user.

TrapTune employs internal 64-bit audio processing and supports any sampling rate, including 192 kHz or higher. Its smart bypass prevents clicks and compensates for latency during automation. An intelligent sleep mode reduces CPU usage when no processing is needed, and updates are free for life.
