Central DAW and Effects

At the heart of this bundle is Waveform Pro, Tracktion’s DAW. This version introduces a Smart Browser for quick access to plugins, presets, samples, and more, alongside a redesigned audio engine for performance. It includes the new BassOSC instrument, a Dual Guitar IR for amp modeling, and a refreshed set of effects. Editing tools are enhanced with MIDI Fold and an Event List Editor.

The bundle also incorporates the DAW Essentials Collection, sixteen contemporary effects plugins. These utilities handle common processing tasks, from dynamics to tonal shaping, directly inside your sessions. Instruments and Sound Design

This bundle includes several powerful synthesizers and samplers. Abyss uses spectral synthesis to create evolving pads and drones. BioTek 2 focuses on natural and environmental samples with extensive modulation for sound design. Spacecraft is a granular synth with two parallel engines. F’em is a hybrid FM synthesizer with an eleven-operator matrix. Hyperion offers a modular approach with up to ten layers.

MOK Waverazor provides a unique oscillator design for aggressive tones, while RetroMod instruments aim to capture the character of classic hardware synths. Drum Loop Libraries

The bundle includes three drum loop collections. Imagina Loops provide multi-track construction kits in a ‘Track Loop’ format that can be expanded to full multi-track recordings for mixing flexibility. Each pack contains complete songs with intros, verses, and fills. Additional individual loops are provided by drummers Alex Sanfilippo, Roberto Testa, and Riccardo Lombardo, each delivering a different style.

Sanfilippo offers clean, rock-oriented patterns, Testa brings precise pop grooves, and Lombardo contributes creative, experimental rhythms. These libraries work directly with Waveform’s Track Loop feature, allowing you to audition and integrate drum parts quickly. They are designed to give you realistic, performance-based drum tracks without programming, suitable for genres ranging from rock and pop to experimental electronic music.

Expansions and Workflow

The bundle includes all current Tracktion expansion packs. These are themed sound sets that add new presets and samples to the core instruments. For instance, there are expansion packs for Abyss, BioTek 2 (including Rap Trap and Tropical House), and F’em. These expansions provide genre-specific starting points and help you explore the sound engines more deeply.

When working with the expansions, you can quickly audition sounds using the Smart Browser, then further tweak them with the instruments’ modulation and automation capabilities. The included drum loops can be manipulated like any other audio clips, allowing you to edit or replace individual parts. This integrated workflow allows you to move from inspiration to a full arrangement, using the loops as a foundation or a supplement to your own drum programming.
