You can dial back or disable the bleed for a tighter, more modern sound. Comprehensive Built-In Mixer

ELE is a complete package for drum tone shaping, eliminating the need for additional plugins. The built-in mixer offers two EQ types, saturation, 1176-style compression, a transient designer, ADSR controls, and two reverb sends (non-linear or plate). This gives you immediate command over each mic channel.

A Master section further refines the overall sound with Pultec-style EQ, SSL-style bus compression with a parallel mix knob, tape saturation, and additional reverb controls. Everything you need to craft a perfect metal drum sound is within the instrument itself, allowing for fast, intuitive adjustments without menu diving or external routing.

Integrated MIDI Grooves

Programming drums can be tedious, so ELE includes a selection of high-quality MIDI grooves performed by real drummers. These grooves carry the feel and dynamics of a live performance, letting you simply find one that fits your song and use it directly. This saves time and adds authentic human energy.

For more variety, you can use additional MIDI groove packs designed for Spectre Digital’s virtual drum plugins. All grooves are recorded by real drummers, ensuring they sound human. Workflow and Practical Use

ELE loads quickly in Kontakt Player and offers mix-ready presets for immediate use, ranging from gritty old-school heaviness to polished modern punch. These presets are suitable for songwriting or final mixes. The instrument interface is designed for one-click access, reducing time spent searching for settings.

MIDI mapping is simple, allowing you to remap notes for live play on a controller, and audio outputs can be routed as needed. The Master Kit also includes TCI files of the shells for use with Steven Slate Trigger 2, making it easy to replace recorded drums with ELE sounds. Owning Trigger 2 is required for TCI use.
