Komplete 26 Collector’s Edition is Native Instruments’ most extensive music production bundle, featuring over 160 instruments and effects, including Kontakt 8, Massive X, and new additions for sound design and orchestral scoring.
Comprehensive Bundle Overview
Komplete 26 Collector’s Edition is Native Instruments’ flagship bundle, designed to provide an all-encompassing creative toolkit for music producers and composers. It includes almost everything Native Instruments has ever released, from flagship instruments like Kontakt 8 and Massive X to the legendary semi-modular synthesizer Absynth 6.
The collection is built to support every stage of music creation, from initial inspiration to final mastering. With over 160 instruments and effects, more than 150 Expansions, and numerous new product additions, it offers an expansive creative runway. The included iZotope Elements tools and Brainworx effects handle mixing and mastering, while the Play Series and Session Series add versatile performance and production options.
Key Instruments and Synths
The bundle centers on Kontakt 8, the latest sampling platform with new tools for deep sound manipulation. Massive X, updated with the Play Page, is the wavetable synth for next-generation sound design. Absynth 6 returns, offering a hybrid engine that combines granular, FM, wavetable, and subtractive synthesis, ideal for evolving textures and soundscapes. Iconic synths like Reaktor 6, Massive, FM8, and Monark are also included.
These instruments provide a comprehensive range of sonic possibilities, from classic analog emulations to experimental digital textures. Whether you need rich pads, punchy basses, or intricate leads, the synth collection covers diverse genres and styles. The inclusion of established favorites like Noire, Arkhis, and Fables adds cinematic depth, while the full Session Series offers realistic guitar and bass performances.
New Additions and Orchestral Tools
Komplete 26 introduces several new instruments. Circular transforms simple chords into evolving cinematic soundscapes, while Odes brings rhythmic ensembles to life. Claire: Avant is an experimental sequel to the Claire grand piano, and Erosia is a cinematic sound design engine. The Electric Keys Definitive Collection explores six vintage keyboards and pianos for iconic sounds.
For orchestral scoring, LCO Producer Strings captures the genre-defying sound of the London Contemporary Orchestra, and Cremona Quartet Ensemble allows detailed arrangements with four precious string instruments. These tools are complemented by the Symphony Series, providing large-scale orchestral sections. With these additions, composers can craft intricate arrangements or generate atmospheric layers, making the bundle suitable for film, game, and media scoring.
Expansions, Effects, and Workflow
The bundle includes over 150 Expansions, sound packs filled with synth presets, drum kits, one-shots, samples, and loops. These cover genres like Hot List, Raw Rhythm, Modern Latin, Soul Choir, and Jazz Hop, offering immediate creative material. For mixing and effects, iZotope Elements tools—Ozone 12, Neutron 5, Nectar 4—along with Brainworx effects like bx_enhancer and bx_glue provide professional processing.
Workflow is streamlined via Native Access 2 for simple setup and activation. The bundle integrates seamlessly with Kontrol keyboards, Maschine, and third-party MIDI controllers through NKS, and works with any DAW. This integration ensures tactile control and visual previews, making it easy to browse and play sounds. From initial idea to final master, Komplete 26 Collector’s Edition aims to keep you creative without technical hurdles.
