Core Modules

The FM Bundle centers on FM Station, a four-operator FM oscillator available in mono and poly versions. It reproduces the punchy, crystalline tones of classic DX-series synthesizers from the 1980s. Its graphic interface simplifies FM programming, making complex algorithms and modulation routing more approachable for both beginners and experienced sound designers.

Alongside FM Station, the bundle includes EG Station in mono and poly formats. EG Station is a graphic envelope generator module with eight fully independent envelope generators. Each generator offers velocity CV inputs and fast, normalled connections for streamlined patching. This setup provides extensive modulation control, allowing detailed shaping of amplitude, filter, and other parameters within a modular patch.

For seamless integration, some presets rely on modules from the Voltage Modular Core package. This means that to get full functionality from these presets, you need to have the Core modules installed, as they are not included in the FM Bundle itself. System and Usage Notes

The FM Bundle operates within Cherry Audio’s Voltage Modular environment, so a working installation of Voltage Modular is required (as a host). The source specifies system requirements for the software, including Windows 7 or above (64-bit) and macOS 10.13 or later with native Apple M1 or newer processor support. A quad-core CPU and 8GB RAM are recommended for smooth performance.
