A parametric EQ with bass and treble controls lets you shape the tone to fit your mix. Finally, the sensitivity setting adjusts the minimum velocity threshold for the lowest velocity layer, ensuring that all levels of dynamics are accessible.

Bassym-M offers a high level of detail in its sampling approach. The sustain articulation includes eleven velocity layers, allowing for smooth transitions between soft and loud playing. Release samples have ten velocity layers, capturing the nuance of how a string is released at different intensities. This depth of sampling ensures that the instrument responds naturally to keyboard velocity, making dynamic performances feel more authentic.

Beyond sustain and release, the library includes dedicated hammer-on and slide samples, which are triggered by the legato controls. Advanced vibrato is implemented and controlled via the modulation wheel, adding expressiveness to sustained notes. String noises are played randomly, which adds a subtle layer of realism, while harmonics, ghost notes, and string hits provide percussive and textural options.
