Comprehensive Tron Sound Collection

M-Tron Pro Complete bundles the M-Tron Pro IV instrument with fourteen expansion packs, making it a vast digital archive of authentic tape-based sounds. The collection includes nine Streetly Tapes volumes sourced from original master tapes, plus ChamberTron, OptiTron, OrchesTron, and artist expansions from Alex Ball and Hainbach.

Each tape bank has been carefully recorded note-by-note and meticulously edited, preserving the character of vintage instruments. The expansion packs cover sounds from the Chamberlin, Optigan, Orchestron, and rare Mellotron recordings, offering a broad palette of classic textures.

Expansive Preset Library

The instrument includes over five hundred tape banks and more than three thousand five hundred presets, many curated by renowned artists and programmers such as David Hentschel, Steve Hackett, and members of I Monster. This diverse preset selection provides instant access to a wide range of sonic possibilities.

Presets span classic instrumental tones, vocal choirs, and experimental textures, designed to fit seamlessly into modern productions. The sheer variety ensures that users can find suitable sounds for everything from retro rock to contemporary electronic music without extensive tweaking.

Curated Expansion Packs

The fourteen expansion packs are a major part of the bundle’s appeal. The Streetly Tapes expansions, drawn from original master tapes, offer authentic Mellotron sounds with direct lineage to early sixties instruments. Additional packs like ChamberTron and OrchesTron expand the range into other vintage keyboard territories.

Artist expansions from Alex Ball and Hainbach add unique, modern interpretations of these classic sounds, blending tradition with contemporary creativity. Together, these packs make the Complete edition a go-to resource for producers seeking historically rich yet versatile tape-based timbres.

Workflow and Musical Applications

M-Tron Pro Complete is designed for effortless integration into digital audio workstations. Users can browse presets by type, load tape banks, and tweak parameters to shape the sound, all within a cohesive plugin interface. The layout supports quick auditions, making it easy to find the right texture for a track.

The instrument is well-suited for adding vintage character across genres—complementing psychedelic rock, progressive, indie, and electronic music. Its instant classic vibe allows producers to evoke nostalgic moods or infuse modern tracks with a distinctive tape-based warmth, whether for lead melodies, pads, or atmospheric layers.
