Retro Organ Suite — Free Download
A collection of six vintage electric organs, sampled from restored instruments with multiple signal paths and rotary speaker emulation, playable in a hybrid instrument environment.

Purpose and Heritage
Retro Organ Suite preserves the distinct voices of legendary electronic organs from the early twentieth century onward. These instruments once served as affordable alternatives to pipe organs and later shaped jazz and popular music. Captured from factory-spec restored units, the library documents each model’s tonal range and natural character through a comprehensive sample set.
The recordings were made through original speakers, rotary cabinets, direct inputs, and a variety of vintage guitar amps, with high-quality microphones, preamps, and processors for fidelity. This approach ensures a faithful preservation of historical recording setups while providing a broad palette for sound design. The resulting sound library is delivered as a hybrid instrument within a modern workstation environment.
Key Capabilities
The six instruments each bring a distinct personality. Hammer B is a 1940s Hammond B3 with a Leslie cabinet, captured down to the pedal sounds for a warm, authentic tone. EX III is based on a 1979 KORG CX-3, offering real drawbar control and a new high-quality rotary cabinet emulation with wavetable oscillator support.
GT2500 is an Eminent Grand Theater 2500, covering classic string sounds, large organ stacks, percussions, and onboard effects like the spacy ‘Orbital.’ Combo K bundles five combo organs: the Farfisa Compact Duo and Combo Compact, Elka Classic, Phillips AG7500, and Hammond M100. Each instrument offers extensive editing and effect sections for tonal shaping from subtle to extreme.
Workflow and Customization
In the host environment, you can load any of the instruments across multiple layers to create complex setups. For instance, assign an upper keyboard to play a Super VX solo, a lower keyboard to a Hammer B with fast/slow Leslie motion, and a pedalboard to trigger a GT2500 sound.
The included UVI Workstation lets you instance as many instruments and pedals as needed and customize key ranges per instrument. The sample base—captured through multiple signal chains—offers a wide range of tonal options, from dry, untreated direct sounds to processed amplifier tones.
Practical Applications
Retro Organ Suite suits contemporary music production, film scoring, and any genre requiring authentic vintage keys. The Hammer B provides classic jazz and rock tones; Super VX captures the British Invasion sound; EX III provides a flexible drawbar instrument for live or studio use; GT2500 offers atmospheric string and organ layers; Retrocorda gives warm nostalgic textures for ballad or indie work; and Combo K delivers quirky, affordable combo tones for creative experimentation.
The rotary speaker emulation is applied across the library, adding realistic movement and depth. Because the source recordings include multiple amplifier and cabinet options, you can mix, match, or blend chains to match the era’s recording aesthetics or to invent new fusions. The comprehensive preset set and deep editing capabilities make it suitable for quick sketching or detailed sound design sessions.
